A little about us …
DA Studios is a small company formed by the partnership of mother and daughter team, Danette Fisher and April Gilberto-Ulrich. We’re located in the vicinity of Baltimore, Maryland and love to travel!
We also love taking pictures and capturing light! On occasion we work side by side with other artists, photographers, videographers and designers and one aspect we all have in common, is the love of color and light. Whether it’s peeking through the leaves of a shady tree, beaming from a child’s smiling face or found as a rainbow shimmering in a small puddle. Everyone (and almost everything) has it’s own light.
Our passion is to witness your light, capture it and then allow you the ability to share it with others. Photographs preserve memories that can be shared beyond a lifetime. Let your light fly!
Why we chose the dragonfly …
Although there are many different cultures that associate the dragonfly with various traditions, philosophies, and symbolism, the commonality resembles good and positive energies. We admire and revere these traits, however, it is the straight forward facts that we identify with most:
“Beings that can be found in a rainbow of colors, possessing the ability to fly with a double set of wings (one set for each of us), working independently as well as together, allowing for maneuvering in mid-air like a helicopter, hovering, flying forwards, backwards, sideways and instantly changing direction whenever needed”. Even if we can’t fly, your light can.
